Founder and Director
Madeline Liberman (She/Her/Hers) founded Reading Kids Connect in May of 2020. As Director, she is responsible for intake and support of mentors and mentees, administration, and development. Madeline is also a mentor with the virtual mentorship program Hearts Over Hands. In high school, she was a co-leader of the BOLD club, a leadership and empowerment club for middle school girls in Reading. A 2019 graduate from Reading Memorial High School, Madeline is pursuing a B.A. in Urban Studies from Barnard College.
Autumn Hendrickson (She/Her/Hers) joined the team in early June and has been working with Madeline Liberman ever since. As an assistant director, Autumn does a little bit of a lot of things, from helping to take notes during meetings, to writing emails and occasionally posting for social media, and contributing to the Reading Kids Connect newsletter. She will be attending Endicott College majoring in English Secondary Education.
Having joined around early August, Baovy Phan (She/Her/Hers) is one of two outreach managers for Reading Kids Connect. As an outreach manager, her job is to network and to promote the program. Some of Baovy’s responsibilities include aiding the publicity of Reading Kids Connect, searching and planning for potential events, editing and formatting newsletter, and creating flyers. Baovy will be a junior at Reading Memorial High School in the fall of 2020.
